Terra Alta has 400 feet of lakeshore at the north end of magnificent Schroon Lake.
Our roped-off and lifeguard protected swimming area is empty in June, but come July 1, you’ll see and hear smiles and laughter filling the beachfront.
While on the grounds of Terra Alta you can play tennis or pickle ball on our courts. There is a basketball court too.
There are several play areas on the property for the kids to enjoy.
Throughout our season, Terra Alta provides opportunities to our guests to join in some fun.
The owners and staff are warm and welcoming. They are always happy to provide recommendations for local activities and places to visit as well.
The “Rec Hall”
Originally an ice house, the rec hall is the central hub for all things “camp” and other indoor social activities like Monday night movies, ping pong, sing-a-longs and concerts. The room has working refrigerators, and an oven and opens onto the 30 foot porch—with rocking chairs—that overlooks the beach.
